Candidates first create a profile in the UNV Global Talent Pool through the Unified Volunteering Platform. UNV publishes selected opportunities regularly, and some assignments are filled through direct matching from candidate profiles.
UNV offers international volunteer assignments, national volunteer assignments in the applicant's own country, and online volunteering assignments that can be completed remotely.
The official UNV online volunteering route is open from any device and can include tasks such as data analysis, mapping, teaching, training, language support, communications, policy design, emergency support and other specialized contributions.
Allowances, insurance, travel, visa support and other benefits vary by assignment type, duty station and conditions of service. Applicants should review each opportunity before applying rather than assuming a fixed benefits package.
