- Prize pool
- Earthna lists a total prize pool of USD 1,000,000. Four winners will be able to use the award to support the development, continuation and scaling of their work.
- Focus areas
- Water systems, food systems, terrestrial ecosystems, marine and coastal ecosystems, and built environments.
- Eligibility
- Candidates must be initiatives or projects under a legally incorporated entity. Applicants can be from any region, including projects operating in UN-designated least developed countries.
- Submission requirements
- The application must be completed in English through the Earthna Prize online application system before July 20, 2026. Accurate supporter/referee contact information is required, and Earthna may contact referees during the process.
- Evaluation process
- Earthna describes due diligence checks, review committee evaluation, jury evaluation and possible requests for clarification or supplementary information before selection.
- Good application angle
- Strong applications should show that traditional knowledge is not decorative branding but a practical part of the intervention design, implementation model, community accountability and measurable sustainability outcomes.
